Well, my friends in highschool (back in the mid-eighties) used to call me E.T. Both of my thumbs look just like the cute little guy. I was so embarrassed by my thumbs when I was a teenager, my mom told me I could have plastic surgery when I’m 21. (She knew I would grow out of my unhappiness about my thumbs). And, yes, I have grown quite fond of my E.T. thumbs!!!
